You can help by supporting one of Portion for Orphans' many projects through volunteering or participating in our fundraising events. 100% of your contribution will be used to meet the direct needs of orphans, unless you specifically designate your gift for travel and administrative expenses.

Volunteering with a local orphanage in your area, or with an orphanage in a different part of the world is another possible way for you to help orphaned children. Adopting a child or becoming a foster family for a child may be the most profound way in which you can touch an orphan's life. If you are considering adoption or thinking of becoming a foster parent, please visit the Useful Links page for more information and links to organizations that can assist you in this process.

Furthermore, you can make a tremendous difference in the lives of orphans by increasing your awareness of them and helping people around you understand their troubles and challenges.
